La Dolce Vita tasting on Friday the 30^th of November and Saturday the 1st of December (book a time that suits you) Excellar Fulham Road.

As you are all no doubt aware of, we at Excellar pride ourselves on our wine expertise and range.  It is with this in mind that we have decided to arrange a Wine Tasting Extravaganza which will take you on a journey from the North of Italy to the South and one which will entertain as well as educate....an evening of indulgence if you will!!

We begin our pilgrimage in Veneto and make our way South all in order to pay our respect to those amazing crafts-people who have made food and wine an integral part of our lives.

We will taste, compare and contrast 5 different wines, to accompany them we will have a great selection of Charcuterie and cheeses from across Italy to soak up the essence of those wines.

We will be tasting the following:

·         Prosecco Di Conegliano-Valdobbiadene Spumante Bellenda £16.99

·         Greco di Tufo 2010, Benito Ferrara, Campania 2009 £19.99

·         Etna Rosso Rovittello 2005, Benanti Sicilia £31.99

·         Amarone della Valpolicella Classico 2007, Monte Dall’Ora £49.99

·         L’Alicante 2008 , Poggio Argentiera £25.99

I have come up with a new tasting concept. You will be allocated a time slot that you choose – 12 am/2pm/4pm/6pm/8pm -  and a table for up to 2 hours to taste the above. You will be given a written description about the wines and can ask for further advice if needed or not if you prefer to be left alone. Once you have finished the tasting you can keep the table and carry on having a drink as we will have an on license for the weekend (Bottles can be purchased at shop price with just £6.00 corkage added to the final price).
